And then there was one..

A short post to inform you of the loss of our pet rat Marybella.

On saturday night Ashleigh and I came home to find Marybella very unwell. She had been getting worse each day since having complications with her cancer a week earlier. Shortly after we came home she died in our arms, comfortable and hopefully happy. Her life was short but full of fun times, she is sorely missed.

Tallulah, Marybella's sister, is still alive and well, and we will be spending lots of time with her to keep her happy.

A Rat's Tale

I believe this is the exact definition of an impulse purchase. Shamus and I went shopping for my little brother to buy him birthday present...instead we came away with two adorable white baby rats. They are completely different..Shamus' (no-name, I want it to be Tabitha!) is extremely energetic and curious and is clearly in training for the Olympics when it comes to their wheel..and my rat (Tallulah) is very loving and docile and enjoys sitting on my shoulder and burying herself in my lap....

A Winter Wonderland - probably more so my idea of a winter wonderland as my wonderland would actually include Marc Jacobs clothes and accessories.
